Birungi Norman is a professional Economist, Research and public policy expert. He is a local government representative on the Commission. Norman has vast experience in leadership, having served at Local Government leadership as a vice president of the Uganda Local Government’s Association (ULGA), district chairperson of Kyegegwa district, Speaker of Kyenjojo district and youth Councilor for Kabarole district immediately after his university studies way back in 1997. He brings leadership and negotiation skills, research and policy analysis expertise to the Commission. He is serving his first term having been appointed in November 2017.
