The rebranded Commission will be repositioning itself in response to evolving times, achieving milestones that surpass that all expectations. The rebranded Commission’s impact will be evident through the rapid responses and to requests from stakeholder Ministries, Departments, Agencies and Local Governments.
As a strategy for LGs to have a sound financial base with reliable sources of revenue, today the Lgfc held a workshop at Rocy Hotel Mbale City to provide technical support to LGs in Bukedi sub-region in linking LED initiatives to Local revenue enhancement
Lgfc team led by Commissioners Unzia Martine, Lomonyang Joseph and Nalubega Mariam met Oyam, Sembabule and Rukiga Districts political leadership and heads of departments at their respective districts where they held a policy dialogue on fiscal decentralization, local revenue enhancement and Local Economic Development
