Launch of IRAS in Kamwenge District Local Government.

Launch of IRAS in Kamwenge District Local Government, It was the 126th vote among the 128 Votes to be added on the Integrated revenue administration system (IRAS) by end of January 2024.

Congratulations to them as LGFC strives to improve the performance of Local revenues in local governments.

Local Government Finance Commission

The mandate of LGFC to have oversight on all fiscal decentralization matters in the country and advise Government, local governments and other stakeholders on appropriate frameworks to achieve the intended objectives of Uganda’s decentralisation policy implementation.
