Local Government Finance Commission meets a delegation from USAID on setting rates and charges for LGs

The Local Government Finance Commission on 4th May 2022 held a meeting in the commission board room. The Ag. Commission secretary,  Adam Babale chaired the meeting which discussed the setting of rates and Charges by the Local Governments. This was presented by a team from USAID under the Domestic Revenue Mobilization for Development (DRM4D) project which is designed to support improvements in tax and non-tax revenue administration.The meeting received proposals and recommendations for the criteria for setting rates and charges for local government revenue under category of markets, business licenses and street parking.
