Welcome to the Uganda Local Government Own Source Revenue Conference 2026
The Local Government Finance Commission (LGFC) is pleased to host the Uganda Local Government Own Source Revenue Conference 2026. The conference will bring together Local Government leaders, technical officers, policy makers, development partners and other stakeholders. Together they will discuss practical ways to raise more of Local Governments’ own revenue and to strengthen fiscal decentralisation.
Many Local Governments have now adopted automated systems. This year’s discussion looks beyond automation: what policy changes, institutional reforms and accountability measures are needed to turn better systems into more revenue and better services for citizens.
