Comrades,

Today, 8th April 2024, The Revenue Team collected the highest single day collection ever. A total of *UGX 151,459,553* was collected.

After several engagements, communications (SMS & Demand Notices) and statutory notices, the Property Rates team took to the field for enforcement on property rates. A total of *UGX 119,153,927* was collected on day one.

The other teams also managed to muscle out *UGX 32,305,626* which is above our daily average.

I would like to thank all of you for the April 2024 exploits so far and if this continues, we are headed for a good month in terms of Revenue returns.

We hope that our teams can be facilitated to be in the field from tomorrow up to the end of the year without intermittent stops. These stops which are normally caused by delay in processing of facilitation cause drop in morale.

With this momentum, we can have a record year.
